However, an increasingly paranoid Gary eventually betrays Jimmy by pitting him against Russell Northrop (Cody Melton), the leader of the Bullies, in an underground fight. Initially, the two boys work together to try and assert their dominance over the cliques by playing pranks, while occasionally fending off the Bullies and gaining favour with the Nerds.
